Blackberry coulis

250g BLACKBERRIES (=8,83oz= 1 ¾ cups)

50g WHITE SUGAR (=1,76oz=¼cup)

12g LEMON JUICE (=0,42oz=¾tbsp)


Wash and then dry the blackberries.

Pour all the ingredients in a non-stick pan and cook them at low heat until the fruits look softened (about 5-7 minutes).

Blend with a blender.

Sieve to remove all the little seeds.

Use within 1 day.

Blackberry coulis is a dessert topping suitable for cheesecake, ice cream and panna cotta.
